Un succhiotto
Di quando ho festeggiato il compleanno importante e di una persona cara, ritrovandomi con un succhiotto lasciatomi dalla mia compagna.
Francesco quella mattina si era svegliato presto, con una lista di cose da fare.
Francesco ha camminato i soliti 10 minuti fino alla fermata della metropolitana, qualche fermata, e altri 5 minuti a piedi fino alla sua destinazione: il centro prelievi. Dopo aver riempito così tante fialette da sembrare più una donazione che un prelievo, Francesco è tornato a casa.
Per pranzo, Francesco ha incontrato sua madre e mangiato male: il ristorante non era buono. Francesco e la sua genitrice, poco satolli, hanno quindi passeggiato per un poco fino a raggiungere la casa di famiglia. 15 minuti tra le vie della città ed una giornata di sole.
Una sorpresa si stava consumando quel giorno: era il compleanno dello zio di Francesco, e i vari componenti, scaglionati, della famiglia si presentavano ciclicamente a tagliare una torta con lui. Era un compleanno importante, di quelli in cui si celebra il mezzo secolo di una persona.
Francesco è quindi tornato a casa, prendendo la metropolitana e camminando ancora i soliti 10 minuti fino all’uscio. Era stata una giornata normale, perfino serena date le celebrazioni di una persona cara.
Francesco apre la porta di casa. Francesco si siede. Francesco si toglie le scarpe. Francesco nota che ha il calzino destro sporco. Francesco si toglie la calza sporca. Francesco si guarda il piede destro. Francesco nota che la sua compagna gli ha lasciato un succhiotto sul piede. Francesco capisce. Francesco piange.
Francesco era tutta la giornata che si sentiva il calzino destro strano. Nei vari tragitti in metropolitana Francesco aveva provato a sistemarselo più volte, come quando ti sembra di aver messo il piede in una scarpa sbagliata, il calzino con il tallone sopra, o una suola sbilenca. Francesco aveva provato a sistemare una cosa che non si può sistemare.
Il calzino di Francesco era sporco del suo sangue. Il suo arrogante peregrinare per le vie della città, con quel presuntuoso pensiero di essere una persona normale, aveva portato alla genesi di quella sanguinolenta vescica: nient’altro che un testimone concreato e reale del suo deambulare sbagliato. A Francesco sembra un succhiotto.
Francesco ha ora la dimostrazione, da far vedere a tutti, di quello strano dolore che sente ad ogni passo, come se al posto di muscoli e nervi, dentro di sé, lì dove si attacca la gamba al busto, avesse un cavatappi. Non un apribottiglie, un cavatappi dalla punta torta come la sua gamba.
Francesco ha passato la notte, ossessivo, a cercare il nome di ogni muscolo che li facevano male, solo per dare un nome ad ogni suo male. Francesco è arrivato fino al muscolo abduttore dell’alluce.
Francesco non dimenticherà mai quando suo zio ha compiuto 50 anni, anche se c’è da dire, che probabilmente se ne ricorderà per sempre per i motivi sbagliati.
