Una passeggiata nel parco
Un pomeriggio a camminare mano nella mano col dolore cronico.
Francesco aveva recentemente letto un articolo su come convivere col dolore cronico.
Niente di nuovo per Francesco: non farsi contrarre le relazioni sociali dal dolore, non avere una visione tragica, capire che ci possono essere momenti di felicità nonostante la sofferenza. Francesco sapeva già che deve eradicare i pensieri e le abitudini disfunzionali, che per imbarazzo e disagio, lo fanno astenere dalle attività piacevoli perché ritiene che possano causargli dolore.
Francesco lo sa, ma ha trovato sollievo nel vedere quei concetti in fila ordinata. Francesco lo sa, ma non lo fa. Francesco lo sa, ma per una volta si è messo a fare i compiti ed è andato a fare un passeggiata nel parco.
Francesco scrive ad una sua amica che passerà un poco del suo pomeriggio in quel l’angolo di verde dove si sono conosciuti da giovani, d’estate, giocando a carte e suonando la chitarra. Francesco sa che fa freddo e non è la stessa cosa.
Francesco prima di uscire di case piange, solo lacrime preventive per tutto il dolore che dovrà affrontare. O forse era solo paura.
Francesco arriva al parco nella pancia di quel verme che è la metropolitana. Nel tragitto sottoterra, Francesco seduto pensa che il paradenti è proprio scomodo. Già salendo le scale per uscire, Francesco si dice che in fondo ne vale pena.
Francesco passeggia mentre i bambini corrono nonostante l’inverno. Francesco è una persona così triste che solo i bambini sono in grado di strappargli un sorriso. Fa male quando ti strappano un sorriso, Francesco lo rivorrebbe indietro come loro col naso.
Francesco si immette quindi tra gli spogli alberi digrignando ad ogni passo con un dente diverso nel suo paradenti. Girovagando incontra un gruppo di giovani sportivi nei loro esercizi ginnici. I muscoli sudati guardano Francesco con lo stesso disprezzo di uno spartano verso un fisico flaccido e con la stoica superiorità di un corpo sano in una mente sana. La mente malata di Francesco nel corpo malato di Francesco, guarda i loro movimenti allenati, immedesimandosici. Francesco ha un fremito nel pensarsi e se ne va.
Francesco, stanco, si siede su una panchina e guarda il tramonto amaranto. Francesco pensa a quel fumetto in cui si dice che la bellezza della natura è il formaggio in quella trappola che è la vita. Francesco pensa che è proprio vero guardando le rifrazioni del sole, stritolato dalla dolorosa morsa nella trappola della sua vita.
Francesco ascolta quindi una canzone. Francesco non sa bene perché, ma gli fa esplodere il cuore. Sin dai primi accordi. Probabilmente perché a Francesco è rimasta solo l’arroganza di credere piaccia anche alla donna che ama. Francesco non sa se lei l’ha mai ascoltata. D’altronde Francesco sa avere dei gusti strani in fatto di musica. E si pensa così, col gentile pensiero di lei a tenergli la mano ascoltando una canzone insieme su una panchina al parco. Francesco si ricorda che cosa vuol dire essere felici.
Francesco pensa solo sulla panchina, che i pensieri sono l’unica cosa sufficientemente gentile da potergli prendere la mano senza il rischio di procuragli dolore. Questo è un concetto di rischio che Francesco non vuole condividere con chi vuole prendergli la mano.
Francesco per tornare a casa s’immerge nuovamente nella pancia del verme. Questa volta però, si ricorda di togliersi il paradenti: non gli serve più come il suo corpo, che si deve riposare seduto sul metrò. Francesco, seduto, sbaglia, mentre digrigna i denti al grido di vendetta del dolore. Francesco, come sapeva, paga la sua passeggiata. Francesco impara che non si fa credito e si paga subito.
La sera arriva a Francesco la risposta della sua amica, si scusa ma si era addormentata sul divano. Sono ora passati giorni, e Francesco continua a pagare la sua passeggiata. Francesco sa che è il dolore, propedeutico, della riattivazione di un corpo in disuso e ne è lieto. Infatti non si lamenta del suo propedeutico dolore. Piange e basta.
Francesco può anche, e con orgoglio, dire di aver fatto diligentemente e puntigliosamente i compiti per convivere con il dolore cronico. Ha dato respiro alle sue relazioni sociali, ha fatto sport e apprezzato i colori del mondo adottando la spensierata visione della vita che solo un bambino può avere. Si è perfino innamorato un po’.
Nonostante la certosina e meticolosa cura nell’eseguire i compiti per convivere con il dolore, Francesco ha preso comunque l’insufficienza.
